Dai Loc orphanage...what an experience!! We met Trang (she calls herself "forever in my heart") who is 16 eyars old and has been at the orphanage for 6 years. Her father died when she was 9 years old. She has 3 brothers. Her mother put her in the orphanage because she is a girl and boys are more important in Vietnam as they get an education and can then work to support the family. I videoed her singing a song for us ....have a listen....it is beautiful......she sings like an angel......
She is just one of 43 children at the orphanage. She is happy because now she has three mothers and lots of brothers and sisters..........
